Why private pay benefits you:

  • Treatment is one-on-one and individualized. The current insurance model of treatment for physical therapy does not allow the opportunity to spend the time with you to give you the one-on-one attention you deserve to get better faster. In many traditional clinics, practitioners see multiple patients at the same time, require 3 visits a week, and only allow 20 to 30 minutes with the PT. Our model often requires less visits overall, can help you get better faster, and in the long run may end up costing less than insurance models when number of visits, deductible, and co-pay are taken into account. Also, in the traditional insurance model practices you often can’t get in for weeks and have difficulty scheduling with the same provider, which interrupts continuity of care.

  • The body can be treated as a whole, rather than insurances allowing only your neck or only your low back. Did you know that insurances reimburse well for certain treatments and not others? That means you might not be getting a valuable treatment technique, simply because the reimbursement for your insurance isn’t high. Insurances shouldn’t be the ones dictating the plan of care. Treatment should be based on what is best and most appropriate for the patient. At Red Fox Physical Therapy there are no “filler” treatments that take up your valuable time. You are not shuffled between providers. We give undivided attention by seeing one patient at a time. We respect your busy schedule and want your time to be worthwhile.

  • With private pay, you usually need less visits per week, and you get more out of your visit. As no Physical Therapy Assistants or aides are used, adjustments to treatments or symptom-based adjustments can be performed immediately during the session.

  • We don’t just put a band-aid on the surface problems. In other words we don’t just treat the symptoms – we want to get to the root cause. This is not a quick fix. We give the tools for you to understand how your body moves and what it needs to stay healthy. The focus is not on the bottom line and how many patients we can pack in – it is on the patient. Where it should be.

Payment to Red FOX Physical Therapy, PC is due at the time services are rendered.  Patients may request an invoice with the appropriate ICD10 coding necessary to submit their invoice to a private insurance company for subsequent direct reimbursement (this does not apply to Medicare). Many patients get reimbursed in full or for a portion of their cost. Patient or responsible party agrees that he/she is financially responsible for all unpaid charges and agrees to remit payment to Red FOX Physical Therapy, PC when payment is due.  Red FOX Physical Therapy, PC does not call on insurance benefits nor bill insurance.  We are a private-pay clinic.  It is your responsibility to know what your benefits are (co pays, visit limitations, etc.) and to seek reimbursement from your insurance company if you desire.  It is the patient’s responsibility to have a current prescription for therapy from their doctor (if required) as well as any required authorizations.

Medicare patients: If a Medicare patient would like to be seen and understands that we are not a participating Medicare provider, we may provide wellness services to them if the patient initiates and makes it clear that they voluntarily choose that Medicare not be billed or involved in their treatment. If you do want to use your Medicare benefits for PT services, we can provide you with the name of a clinic that is a participating provider.

No Show/Cancellation/Late Policy:

Cancellations or missed appointments with less than 24 hours notice in advance will result in a $75.00 fee billed directly to patient.  If you arrive late for your appointment, the therapist may or may not have the time to treat you or your therapy time may be reduced and you will be charged the full visit amount. Home visits cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged full price.
